Weather updates: Softball at Mercer County is canceled and moved to tomorrow pending finding umpires. Varsity baseball at Mercer County will now be at Rockridge starting at 4:30. There will be no JV baseball game tonight. Varsity baseball will go to Mer Co on Thursday.

Anyone interested in participating in HS Football next fall… We will have a player/parent meeting Sunday, April 26 at 5:00pm in the HS auditorium. This includes current 8th graders/incoming freshman and parents. We will be discussing summer calendar, new season dates, and more!

We were away on Spring Break during Paraprofessional Appreciation Week, so we want to take this time to recognize them.

Our paraprofessionals are the heartbeat of our classrooms, whether they provide 1-on-1 support, lead small groups, or help as needed.

Seniors Caleb Cox and Caroline Neece were honored at the Illinois Principals' Association breakfast after being selected by RHS staff for their leadership, kindness, and community involvement. Guidance counselor Anne Bohnsack recognized them.

Students in AP Chemistry are learning how accurately their sense of taste detects pH of food. Based on values of coffee, lemon, grapefruit, and sour candy, they had to guess the pH of an unknown substance(bitter melon). After some preparation they found they were 100% accurate. As a side experiment they decided to plant some seeds in our hydroponics system to grow more.
