We are thrilled that the QC Chamber chose RHS Senior Jacob McLeod for its feature on work-based learning in the QC! Jacob attends the Area Career Center at UTHS in the Auto Mechanics Program. This year, he is completing an internship at Zimmerman Honda in Moline and has done an amazing job! His supervisor at Zimmerman said, "We cannot stress enough how well Jacob is doing in his role here and how much he continues to learn and impress us! He is eager, hardworking, incredibly bright, well-liked, and enthusiastic. If we could score him higher, we would! He truly exemplifies the kind of student this apprenticeship program was made for—and the ideal young employee, too!”
RHS is so proud of Jacob and for our school district's support of vocational programs such as the Area Career Center! Check out the video from the QC Chamber: https://youtu.be/H_PD8T29BZ0?si=4g4KnvHE8R6Sb6Kv
