Ms. Hatchel is an outstanding addition to our high school teaching staff. She is an English teacher, and is currently in her second year at Rockridge (fifth year overall). She is already making a significant and positive impact on her students and the entire school community. The selection process was highly competitive, with WRMJ receiving over 40 nominations from across the region. Ms. Hatchel stood out by a landslide among this incredible group of educators. If you are planning to attend tomorrow's playoff game at Downs Tri Valley tickets are purchased at the gate. All tickets are $9 cash. We are not aware of any digital tickets for tomorrow's game.
The kids had a blast defending our 'castle!' Thank you so much to the Illinois Army National Guard for their service and for giving the high school PE classes such a fun, memorable experience!
Our Rockets had another wonderful welcome this morning! We truly appreciate all of the retired teachers and school staff who joined us for Fist Bump Friday. It meant so much seeing you here continuing to support our students. Thank you, and Go Rockets!
High School students- if you would like to ride a Fan Bus to the Rockridge football playoff game on Saturday, please sign up in the main office. Game is at 2:00 at Tri-Valley HS in Downs, Illinois. Booster Club will pay the entrance fee into the game for any student who rides the bus. Go Rockets!
RHS Gray Matters held a "Game Night" to allow for kids to come together and have fun. Pizza, pop, and a bunch of games were offered and we had a great evening!
