Little Rocket Families,
Field day is quickly approaching! We are still needing some lunch counts. If you have not already filled out the form, please do so today. Here is the link: https://bit.ly/451nniN. If you already filled it out, you do not need to do it again. Thank you so much for your support! We are thrilled to be able to have both schools celebrate the last day together!

Mrs. Robinson's first grade class read all of the "What if You Had Animal....." books. after each book we added the animal part. We created some very interesting looking people with animal parts!

Mrs. Sours' 2nd grade class learned about erosion and the Earth's surface in Science. This lesson explored why there is sand at a beach. The students had to pretend to be a body of water and tear up pieces of construction paper to model what happens to rocks as they travel through the water.

Mrs. Robinson’s class has been busy learning about 3D shapes. Today we learned about making composite shapes. We started with individual challenges and worked our way up to group challenges. Lots of fun and critical thinking!

Mrs. Robinson’s class used marshmallows and toothpicks to build 2D and 3D shapes!

This week is Cook's Choice for lunches at Illinois City and Taylor Ridge. Please make sure you look at the correct site's menu.
Thank you!
