Drivers are going past stopped school buses—ignoring the extended stop sign and flashing lights. This is illegal and extremely dangerous.
📸 Plates were captured. Citations WILL be issued. But a ticket won't undo a tragedy.
We can't wait until a student is hurt, or worse. STOP for school buses. Every. Single. Time. 🛑
Due to the anticipated high temperatures, Rockridge Schools will dismiss at 1:30 PM on Monday, September 29, and Tuesday, September 30. We will continue to closely monitor the weather throughout the remainder of the week and communicate any additional adjustments as needed.

Rockets knock off Newman 26-6! Schwigen with 2 TDs passes to Owen Steele and Chase Wheatley. Sowards and Schwigen each added a TD on the ground. Rockets move to 5-0 and will face off against Orion at the Ridge next Friday.
Boys golf took 4th place earlier this week at Three Rivers Conference Golf Tournament. Carter Scherschel shot an 80 and finished in 7th place. This also earned him First Team All Conference Honors.
🛑 Stop arm violations #6, #7, and #8 have all occurred in just the last week for our district.
🚸 Every violation is a risk to a child’s life. Passing a stopped school bus is illegal, dangerous, and potentially deadly.
When the stop arm is out:
✅ STOP — from both directions
✅ WAIT until the arm retracts and lights stop flashing
✅ PROTECT our students

Tomorrow's VB game against Orion has been moved to Orion due to the heat and no air co conditioning at Rockridge. Orion will now come to Rockridge on Oct 16.
