Conor Flaherty, Tyler Lanz, & Mandy Parchert of the Mississippi Valley Advanced Manufacturing Sector Board visited Rockridge JH during lunch periods today. They met informally with students to discuss careers in Manufacturing and associated industries. The students asked lots of questions about job opportunities, training, education, salaries, & benefits, and learned that there is more to Manufacturing than working on an assembly line! Thank you for sharing this valuable career exploration information with our JH students!

The dual credit speech class through Blackhawk College took a field trip to AES! The high schoolers gave speeches about being Grateful, which is this month's focus for AES's Character Strong program. Thank you, Ms. Hatchel, for helping our Big Rockets with writing and practicing their speeches. Thank you, Little Rockets, for being such great listeners and having good questions! I wish teachers, coaches, parents, family members, and friends could have heard these speeches on how thankful these kids are. They never fail to impress. #RocketsRock
