Good week for the Rockets Cross Country Team! Laney Keller, Kayden Bain, Colton Reid all had PRs at the Border Wars meet today Saukee. Earlier this week Colton Reid also earned 1st team All Conference Honors at the Three Rivers Conference meet at Princeton.
Final from Rockridge, Rockets 50 Orion 7! Rockets move to 6-0 and will play at Mercer County next week.

But don’t worry—Iron Antler will still be at the Rockridge home football game tonight with their booth set up and ready to go near the concession stand! Stop by to grab a beef stick, show your support, and leave feedback to help decide which team has the strongest marketing and sales strategy.

Please help us celebrate our September RIROE High School Employee of the Month, Kristi Workman! Kristi is an integral part of the Rockridge High School staff, serving as the Account Specialist and Athletic Department Administrative Assistant. She first joined the Rockridge Community School District in 2011 and has worked in various roles over the years, including paraprofessional at Illinois City, secretary at Andalusia, secretary at the high school, and secretary at the junior high.
Her commitment to Rockridge goes above and beyond her main duties. She's currently a bus driver, takes tickets at our athletic events, and manages scorekeeping for volleyball. She also mentors new staff in the main office, and new district administrators on account procedures and processes. She is the go-to person for practically all things Rockridge. We cannot thank Kristi enough for the tireless hours she gives to this school community. Kristi truly has a “heart of maroon.” Congratulations, Kristi!

Rockridge FFA is a little over a week away from our annual Fall Market, and we are still in search of vendors! Please contact us at the emails listed below if you are interested in joining us!
Those who just wish to come out to support this fundraiser - we will have food, baked goods, floral pumpkin arrangements, and fun activities for the kids! Our market will take place in the North parking lot at the high school.
Carter Scherschel and Braydon Oakes are moving on to Mondays Boys golf sectional! Carter shot an 82 and tied to for 3rd overall. The team finished in 6th place but did not advance.
Fabulous time was had at the Figge portfolio day with Aryanna, Lily and Jackson and Jackson's mom Karen! It was very educational, inspiring and enjoyable day! Now it's time to get these kids some college $$$$!
Congrats to Isabel C. and Olivia O. for advancing to Girls Golf Sectionals. We are proud of the entire team and the hard work they put in this season.
Boys golf finishes off the regular season with a second place finish against Mercer County and Galva. Braydon Oakes was the medalist with a 37. Boys regionals will be this Wednesday at Gibson Woods in Monmouth.
Rockets knock off Newman 26-6! Schwigen with 2 TDs passes to Owen Steele and Chase Wheatley. Sowards and Schwigen each added a TD on the ground. Rockets move to 5-0 and will face off against Orion at the Ridge next Friday.
