Dear Rockridge Parents/Guardians,
We are preparing for the start of the 2024-25 school year. Please make sure you log-in to your Lumen Parent Portal (https://rockridge-il.lumentouchhosts.com/light/lumen/signin) as soon as possible to complete your student’s online registration if you have not done so already.
We encourage families to take advantage of the online payment option this year. We will NOT have a dedicated walk-in Fee Day this year. Parents who wish to pay in person with cash or check are asked to visit any district building the week of August 5th.
Registration fees for K-8 students are $80.00 and $100.00 for HS Students. JH & HS Students are also assessed the Student Technology Fee is $30.00. The Technology Fee takes the place of the separate Chromebook Insurance Policy from past years. High School Students may also have additional fees based upon the student’s class schedule. All fees have been pre-loaded into your student’s Lumen account. Parents can also add lunch money payments via the Lumen portal.
JH & HS Students can purchase PE Clothes through the online store from Breedlove’s Sporting Goods (https://rockridgepefall2024.itemorder.com/shop/home/). The store closes at 11:59 pm on July 24th. All items will be shipped to school and delivered to students once school starts.
HS Students who drive to school will need to purchase a parking pass for $50.00. Please fill out the form linked here (https://bit.ly/4bAwsRd) to get this fee added to your student’s account.
Thank you for your prompt attention to completing registration and fee payment for the 2024-25 school year! Please contact your child’s school with any questions or visit the online Registration Page (https://rockridgeschooldistrictil.sites.thrillshare.com/page/registration) for additional back-to-school information.
Sincerely,
Marcus Bush

This our last AES Newsletter! Have a great summer Andalusia Families. https://5il.co/2ml25 . - Mrs. Saey

Thank you Rockridge High School FFA members! Andalusia fourth graders in Mrs. VanSpeybroeck´s class learned so much and had a great day at Ag Day!

Fourth grade spent the day in Springfield, IL on the fourth grade field trip. We went to Abraham Lincoln’s neighborhood tour, the Capitol building, Abraham Lincoln's presidential Library and Museum, and finished the day at Lincoln’s Tomb.

4th grade hosted their annual Showcase of the States. Students have worked hard this year learning about our country, the five regions, and each of the 50 states. For their final project, each student did a research project for a state. Projects were displayed at the Showcase for families to be able to see all their hard work.

The new link to connect to Lumen is: https://rockridge-il.lumentouchhosts.com/light/lumen/signin Lumen can also be accessed from the rr300.org website.

Fifth Grade went to BizTown today! What a great opportunity for our students! Thank you to Mrs. Jones for all the work put into this!

The baseball games scheduled for today (4/16) are canceled due to the predicted severe weather. All after-school activities and the Munchkin's musical practice are canceled.

Congratulations to the Rockridge students who were honored at the Illinois Principals Association Student Leadership Breakfast this morning!!

The Rockridge Academic Achievement Awards will once again honor the top students in each class this spring at our Awards Night on May 7th. We will also recognize the top seniors in each of the departmental areas. I am extremely proud of the outstanding students here at Rockridge High School. These students have made a tremendous effort to achieve these top honors. Recognition of this academic achievement helps reinforce the message that educational excellence is valued by our community.
We rely solely on the generous donors from the Rockridge Community to help us make this worthy event possible. The Rockridge Community donated over $20,000.00 last year to fund the 2023 awards. Now, more than ever, we need the support of our community to ensure the 2024 awards are fully funded. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the 2024 Rockridge Academic Achievement Awards. Be assured that 100% of the donations received will stay here at Rockridge to finance the Academic Achievement Awards Program, including the award plaques and the departmental award scholarships.
I sincerely appreciate the time you are taking out of your busy schedule to contribute to this worthwhile program. Please send your check and the Pledge Form to Rockridge High School. Do not hesitate to contact me via phone (309-793-8020) or email (khasson@rr300.org) if you have questions about the 2024 Rockridge Academic Achievement Awards.
Thank you so much for your support!

Today's NHS Easter Egg Hunt will be held INSIDE in the RHS South Gym at 2 pm due to the weather.

To kickoff their visits to the library, AES 4th graders were treated to a magic show and learned a rope magic trick. In the fall and spring, students walk to the Andalusia Public Library to checkout books and hear about new titles from Miss Alaina. Special thanks to the library, Miss Alaina, and Rick Eugene for this special treat!
