The Rockets JH Girls Basketball teams split with Sherrard tonight. 7th grade won 20-10 and 8th grade lost 25-17.

Volleyball tomorrow against Monmouth Roseville will be a JV and Varsity game only. There will be no Freshman game. The JV game will start at 5 pm followed by Senior Night Activities and then the Varsity game.

This week begins National School Bus Safety Week! 🚍 Did you know, the greatest risk to children isn’t while they’re actually riding the bus; it’s during the loading and unloading process, often referred to as the “danger zone” — the 10-foot area around the bus where children are most at risk of being hit by a vehicle or even the bus itself. This is where visibility is low and children may act unpredictably, crossing behind or in front of the bus without being seen. Here are a few key safety reminders: For Children: 👧🧒 --Stay 10 feet away from the front, back, and sides of the bus when waiting or after exiting. --Wait for the driver's signal before crossing the street. --Never bend down near the bus, even if you drop something. --Always use sidewalks and crosswalks, and look both ways before crossing the road. For Drivers: 🚘 --Always stop for school buses when the stop arm is extended and red lights are flashing. --Slow down in school zones and near bus stops. --Stay alert — children can be unpredictable.

Final from Rockridge, Rockets roll past the Titans 48-12 to move to 8-0. The Rockets will play at Hall in their final regular season game next Friday!

Dye runs in from 18 yds out but Mon Rose responds with Huston TD run. Rockets now lead 34-6 with 5:30 to play in the 3rd.

Tomorrow's JH Football game against Sherrard is a 10 AM start.

Osborne with the Pick 6 to put the Rockets up 21-0 with 1/24 to play in the half.

A 16 yd TD run by Sowards and 24 yd TD pass from Schwigen to O Steele puts the Rockets on top 14-0 with 5:15 to play in the 1st half.

Update on our NFHS camera for football. We have a new camera on site and are waiting for a technician from the company to install it. They were scheduled to be here today but have not arrived. If they do not get here the game will still be streamed with the old camera.

All teams will play in the Blackhawk League.
Schedules will be sent out around 10/27.

1st year players in the program will be required to purchase a uniform for this year. Please communicate with your coach if you need a new uniform. The cost of the uniform is $22 for top and $12 for shorts.

Parent Meeting: Tuesday, October 28th (Fee Deadline) - 7:00PM -- Jr High Cafeteria.
Practice days/times will be set by volunteer coach.
