  • The TRAC Girls' Varsity Track Meet that was scheduled to be held on May 4th at Morrison has been moved to Friday, May 5th at Bureau Valley.  The move was needed because of work being done at Morrison.
  • Softball has added Varsity & FS games at Alleman on April 11th.  Both games will start at 4:30 pm at the Alleman Athletic Complex behind Target in Moline.
  • All Baseball & Softball games on April 7th vs. Bureau Valley have been CANCELLED.
  • Softball has added a Varsity/FS DH vs. United at Rockridge on Monday, May 8th.  Game time is 4:30 pm.
  • The Softball games vs. Moline on April 5th have been CANCELLED.  They have been rescheduled for April 19th at the same sites.
  • Varsity Baseball scheduled for April 4th vs. Fulton has been CANCELLED.  It has been rescheduled for Friday, April 7th at Fulton.  Game time is 4:00 pm, not 4:30 as previously scheduled.
  • HS Boys' & Girls' Track at Wethersfield on April 3rd has been CANCELLED and will not be rescheduled.
  • The Baseball & Softball games vs. Spring Valley Hall on March 31st have all be CANCELLED due to wet field conditions.  They are non-divisional games and will likely NOT be made up.
  • The Baseball games vs. Morrison on March 30th have been rescheduled for May 9th.  Varsity will play at Morrison and FS will play at home.  The baseball games vs. Sterling Newman scheduled for May 9th have been cancelled to accommodate the rescheduled conference games that day.
  • The Baseball games vs. Morrison on March 27th have been rescheduled for May 4th.  Varsity will play at home and FS will play at Morrison.
  • The Rockridge Softball Invitational Scheduled for March 25th has been CANCELLED and will not be rescheduled.
  • Softball vs. Geneseo originally scheduled for March 15th will be made up on May 3rd.
  • Softball vs. Sherrard will now be Varsity/FS doubleheaders, at Sherrard on April 17th and at Rockridge on April 20th.
  • FS Softball vs. Kewanee on April 21st will now be a Varsity/FS DH at Rockridge.
  • FS Softball vs. Princeton on April 28th will now be played AT Princeton as a Varsity/FS DH.
  • FS Baseball at Knoxville on May 11th will now be played at Rockridge as a Varsity/FS DH.

Frakes excited for one last game
Carson Frakes' high school basketball career will come full circle, so to speak, tonight. The Rockridge forward will put on the maroon and white one final time at Augustana's Carver Center in the Iowa-Illinois Senior All-Star Basketball Showcase. Read more...

Rockets Medal at Indoor State
The Rockridge Track teams brought home three medals from the Illinois Top Times Meet at IWU on March 24th.  The girls' 4x200 Relay placed 6th & the 4x400 Relay placed 7th.  The boys' 4x400 Relay placed 3rd.

Varsity SB:  Rockridge 13, St. Bede 4: The Rockets blasted three home runs in the home win, including a grand slam by Jenna Swanson. Amelia Thomas (three hits, two RBIs) and Emily Selman (two hits, two RBIs) also homered. 

Whiteman is Dispatch/Argus POY
Rockridge's senior Gentry Whiteman is the Moline Dispatch and the Rock Island Argus Area boys' basketball Player of the year. Read more...

Varsity BA:  Ridgewood 5, Rockridge 4: The Ridgewood Spartans made a 5-0 lead stand up as they fended off a Rockridge rally to prevail at Edgington. The Rockets (0-2) out-hit Ridgewood 7-5, with Xavior Calvin and Drake Watznauer getting two hits each, but their rally ran out of steam as reliever Cole Franks nailed down the Spartans' victory.

Whiteman Resigns as Varsity BBB Coach
Toby Whiteman resigned as the Rockridge boys' basketball coach on Wednesday, ending a six-year tenure that included a 151-26 record.  Read more....

Varsity SB:  Rockridge 12, Mercer County 0 (5): Rockridge pounded 16 hits in its season opener which was shortened to five innings by the 10-run mercy rule. Grace Preston got the win in relief and Amelia Thomas was a home run short of the cycle. Three Rockridge pitchers held the Golden Eagles to a single hit. Daria Parchert and Kelsey Garrett each had three hits as Rockridge totaled four doubles. Jenna Swanson led the team with three RBIs.

Baseball Drops Opener at Mercer Co.
ALEDO -- Getting the chance to hit the field for real Monday afternoon, the Mercer County baseball team delivered a solid performance its first time out.  Read more...
